At Talk Talk English we want you to experience our teaching method before you make a decision to join the school.
Our trial students take part in the lesson, allowing our teachers to assess the student more accurately. This helps to avoid placing a student in the wrong class.

Teaching Method

Talk Talk English uses an innovative and unique language training system that genuinely improves people's ability to speak and understand English. Our realistic, fast-paced lessons will get you speaking English confidently and accurately in the shortest possible time.

At Talk Talk English, 100% of all class time is devoted to speaking and listening practice. Our teaching method is based on a system of both continuous verbal question and answer as well as structured speaking and listening activities. Unlike many other English programs, we do not waste time with complicated and ineffective grammar drills - we focus on realistic language functions that help you learn English in a natural and intuitive way.

Our program is carefully structured to progressively build vocabulary and language competency - at the completion of our program, a student will have command of approximately 3500 words, as well as numerous practical language functions.

At Talk Talk English, all of our classes have a maximum of 11 students. These small classes and our unique method maximize students' speaking time. At Talk Talk English, each student spends far more time speaking per lesson than in almost any other English program.

All of our classes are taught by professional, native English speakers with clear accents. Our teachers conduct lessons at a normal speaking speed, which gives our students the ability to understand and speak fast-paced, genuine English. Our teachers also will help improve your accent and pronunciation, and get you speaking English clearly and confidently.

We provide complete translations of all our vocabulary words, and all of our courses are supported with audio CDs for home study. Our teaching materials use modern English and are updated regularly. Our system uses both American and British English.

VIP English is a service carried out exclusively by our Education Director, and founding partner, Trevor Syrad. Trevor Syrad is an HR and Management Consultant by profession with extensive experience consulting and training at executive level. He has gained important insights into international business having worked in the USA, the UK, Germany, Finland, Mongolia and Vietnam over the last 25 years.

Meet The Team

Meet the Team

Teachers

	Trevor Syrad (BA Hons) Trevor is from London, UK, and is a Social Science graduate of the University of Kent at Canterbury (BA Honours). He is an HR and Management Consultant by profession and has over 25 years of teaching experience. Trevor is one of the founders of the school and now serves as the school's Director. He has lived in Mongolia for three years.
	Patrick Kennedy (BA Hons) Patrick is the co-author of the Talk Talk English course books. He graduated from the University of Sussex (UK) with a degree in Social Anthropology with French. He then went to Prague to gain his TEFL teaching certificate from Oxford TEFL, Prague. After teaching General and Business English for a year, Patrick moved to Mongolia where he became Head of English at the Hartford Institute for the following three years. In 2008, Patrick joined the Talk Talk team as Head of the Academic Development Team. And now servers as the Education Director. Patrick helped to establish our school in Hanoi, Vietnam. Patrick speaks English and French.
	Will McManus (BA) Will graduated from the University of Oklahoma (USA) with a Bachelors degree in History with minors in Arabic Language and English lLterature. After university, Will worked as a PR and Marketing Manager for several international companies. He has worked for Talk Talk English since February 2008 and now serves as the Sales Director. Will speaks English and Spanish.
	Matthew Raiche (BA) Matthew is from the San Francisco Bay Area in California. He graduated from San Francisco State University with a major in Journalism and a minor in International Relations. He has been living in Mongolia since July 2007 and has been teaching at Talk Talk since October 2007. He was formerly an English teacher at the National University of Mongolia and the Mongolian University of Science and Technology. Matthew speaks English and Russian.
	Jennie Stevens (BA Hons) Jennie graduated with a BA (Honours) in Environmental and Development Studies from Staffordshire University in England. After university, she worked in Administration and Business Management for eight years. She has lived in Mongolia for five years where she has worked as a teacher and private tutor. Jennie speaks English and Mongolian.
	Dean Earle (BA) Dean graduated from Massey University, New Zealand with a BA in History and a degree in Teaching. He was a teacher in New Zealand schools for many years, and was princpal of three schools. Having decided to pursue a desire to travel, he has taught English in Taiwan, the Cook Islands, Singapore and now Mongolia. He was formerly an English teacher at the University of the Humanities. Dean has been in Mongolia since 2007.
	Michelle Doescher (AS) Michelle served as a member of AmeriCorps National Service in 2001 and 2002. She worked in Media Advertising for four years and studied Business Office Administration in Washington State. She graduated with her degree in December, 2009, then came to Mongolia. Michelle has taught English as a Foreign Language in the United States, Cairo, Egypt, and now in Mongolia.

	Jeremy Green (BA) Jeremy is from Silver Spring, Maryland. He has degrees in economics, political science and public policy from St. Mary’s College. He was a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Arkhangia Aimag from 2005-2007. In 2008 he helped establish a Talk Talk English center in Hanoi, Vietnam, where he worked as Education Director and co-author of the Talk Talk English course books. He returned to Mongolia in October 2009.

Student Services Team

	Ch. Amarsanaa (MA) Amarsanaa is one of the founders of Talk Talk and he now serves as the director. He has a Master of Arts degree in Tourism from Salzburg University in Austria. He was a teacher of Tourism and English at the National University of Mongolia, The Art and Cultural University of Mongolian, and Hartford Institute. Amarsanaa speaks Mongolian, English, and Russian.
	L. Javkhlan (BSc) Javkhlan is an International Business graduate of the Mongolia International University. She joined Talk Talk English when the school was founded in 2007. She currently works in Student Services. She helped found the school in Hanoi, Vietnam. Javkhlan speaks Mongolian and English.

	N. Selenge (BA) Selenge is the school’s accountant. She graduated from the Mongolian Business University. She speaks Mongolian, English, and Japanese.
	E. Munkhzaya Munkhzaya is one of the school’s education advisors. She graduated from high school in London, England. She is currently a student at the Mongolian University of Education. Zaya speaks Mongolian and English.
	B. Solongo (AS) Solongo works as the school’s lead sales consultant. She graduated from the LDS Business College (USA) with an Associate of Science Degree in Business. She is currently a student at the National University of Mongolia, School of Foreign Services. She joined Talk Talk English in 2009. Solongo speaks Mongolian and English.

Regular courses comprise 12 stages taught over a total of 240 lessons. Regular courses are taught one or two lessons per day, Monday to Friday.

The course fee includes all study material, including a lesson book, a workbook, a dictation book, a study-at-home audio CD, and access to the Linguacon system.
